Course Length: 3 days.
Overview This course provides students with the knowledge to implement an Integration Services solution in their organisations. In addition students will be able to develop, deploy and manage Integration Services packages.
Students will learn how to describe and create SQL Server Integration Services packages and its tools. They will also be able to implement logging, data flow and control flow in an Integration Services package. Furthermore, students will be capable of debugging and implementing error handling and checkpoints and transactions in an Integration Services package. Finally, students can deploy, manage and secure an Integration Services package.
Audience This course is intended for Information Technology Professionals and Developers who need to implement data transfers or extract, transform and load (ETL) solutions by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services.
Outline
Prerequisites Students must have exposure to enterprise data import and export scenarios and experience navigating the Microsoft Windows Server environment. In addition, students should have experience with Microsoft SQL server including SQL server Agent, server query language, server system tables and server accounts. |
